Massimiliano Saccone, CFA

Massimiliano has over 20 years’ experience at major financial institutions and consultancies. Before founding XTAL, he was a Managing Director at AIG Investments, most recently as Global Head of Multi-Alternatives Strategies and, prior to that, as Regional Head of business development for Southern Europe. Earlier, he was a Vice President and Head of the institutional Portfolio Management team at Deutsche Asset Management in Italy. He also served as a Member of the GIPS Alternative Strategies Working Group at the CFA Institute and is the author of the first guide of the Italian CFA Society on Alternative Investments.
